Chopta – Tungnath Trek
Trip Overview
Walk into Uttarakhand’s “Mini Switzerland”, Chopta’s rolling meadows leading to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world (~3,680 m). Soft on mileage yet rich in Himalayan drama, this trek suits fit beginners, spiritual travellers, couples, and friend groups seeking altitude with meaning. Optional Chandrashila summit rewards early risers with a 360° dawn over snow giants. We handle pacing, tea stops, and safety briefings so you can focus on the trail and the temple bells.
Best in April–June and September–November. Monsoon trails are scenic but slippery. Carry warm layers even in spring, summit winds can bite.
